The “FORMULA STEM Esports Cup presented by Brightspeed Fiber Internet” is a racing challenge where students compete in the EA Sports F1 24 video game over an eight week season, exploring STEM careers through the eyes of a racing driver while competing to win $5,000 in scholarships and prizes. Participants gain free access to industry leading college recruiting platform Stay Plugged In, where they can network with college recruiters and seek college scholarships, find friends with similar interests, learn and Race Into Your Future.
Starting Spring ‘25, the inaugural season focuses on F1 24 competition, with introduction to STEM careers in the racing world. Subsequent seasons will include project based learning on STEM topics utilizing gameplay experience. Register for more information today!

Driver's Meeting
Drivers are invited to attend the Drivers Meeting at 5 PM ET on March 20th to learn about the league, ask questions and get to know your competitors. Meet our professional driver ambassador who will lead the Track Tests before each race and sign up to get results, highlights and standings.
PRE-SEASON TEST
The season opener will be held at the home of the Spanish GP, Circuit Catalunya and will be a non-points paying race to get everyone up to speed with race rules and procedures. Pole sitter stills wins a prize - and bragging rights!
TEST SESSIONS
On the Thursday prior to each GP, join a test session hosted by a professional driver. This interactive experience will teach fast lines around the track, set-up advice and tips for reaching the podium. Test Sessions are open to all participants and will be hosted on the Stay Plugged In Twitch channel - subscribe for notices to the Test Sessions and other cool streams.

Drivers earn points through participation in Qualifying Races and weekly GP’s.
Each racer will receive one (1) point for participating in Qualifying Races - rewarding weekly participation. Twenty drivers each week qualify for the GP, a 30 minute race where 50 points go to the winner.
Participants are invited to join a live race event on April 8th, held in conjunction with STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) finals to be held at the Hilton Charlotte Airport Hotel and Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
CHAMPIONSHIP
The top 40 drivers from the weekly GPs qualify to compete for the FORMULA STEM Esports Cup presented by Brightspeed Fiber Internet. The top three finishers from each GP automatically qualify for the Championship (a maximum of 18 drivers from six points paying events), while the remainder of the field qualifies based on points accumulated throughout the season.
Championship qualifiers will be split into two groups of 20 drivers, the top 10 from each race progressing to the Championship. The top three finishers in the Championship event will receive awards and prizes totaling $4,000.
